Müllerstraße
Reconstruction and equipment of our own architecture office
according to Feng Shui form school, Ba Gua and Xuan Kong Fei Xing
Kitchen
The kitchen was moved to the end room of the unit to allow for proper distribution of activity. The space serves as a consultation room, lounge, meeting space for our team, dining room, coffee bar and kitchen-living room. The colors and materials chosen support the characteristics of use and place.
Light
To match our self-developed table frames, we have designed a work lamp, a mixture of floor lamp and table lamp. The materials are black steel and raw aluminum. For the lighting technology, LED honeycomb modules were precisely integrated into the housing, providing both direct and indirect light.
Feng shui
The working and living areas were distributed according to the energetic conditions of the room following to the laws of Feng Shui. The form school (formal view), direction school (alignment criteria according to Ba Gua) and the flying stars (Xuan Kong Fei Xing) were used, which additionally provide a temporal classification according to astrological aspects. In areas where the mere correct distribution of functions cannot provide an optimal solution, energetic corrections were made through architectural measures, such as relocating the entrance position, as well as targeted color and material selection or furnishing.
